The project will be carried out by the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC)
Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) is a joint stock company and was incorporated by Royal Decree by merging all power utilities and projects of the Electricity Corporation.
The shareholding of the SEC is as follows:-

ㅇ Private Sector 18.96%
ㅇ Saudi Aramco 6.89%
SEC is planning to build an interconnection transmission line
between Qassim and Madinah.
The targetted project completion has been set in 2012.
