The NATIONAL ELECTRIC POWER COMPANY(NEPCO) announces the availability of the Tender Documents for Tender No. 18/2006 ? Switchgear, Capacitor banks And Ancillary Equipments for
University and Extenion of ATPS and Aqaba A2 132/33 kV S/Ss. For the design , engineering , manufacturing, testing at factory , seaworthy packing, supply, delivery CFR Aqaba, supervising of erection and commissioning, setting to work and warranty.
Interested Tenderers can obtain Tender Documents for a non-refundable fee of JD500(Five hundred Jordanian dinars) from:
The Procurement Department, National Electric Power Company, Zahran Street, 7th Circle, Jabal Amman.
A Tender Brief with Tenderers eligibility and qualifications is also available free of charge at the same address.
The project will be financed from NEPCO?s own resource.
A Tender Security in an amount of JD410,000(Four hundred and ten thousand Jordanian Dinars) in the form of a bank guarantee valid for a period of 180days from the tender closing date, issued directly by an approved bank located in Jordan, in the form provided in the Tendering Documents will be required.
Failure to provide a Tender Security in the form requested will result in the rejection of the Tender.
Bids are to be submitted to the Secretary of Tendering Committee at the above mentioned address, in the form of two closed envelopes (Technical and Financial )as described in the Tender Brief.
The last date for submission of the bids is at 12:00 noon (Jordan local time) on Monday, 2nd of Oct. 2006
This Tender includes full design and engineering manufacturing , inspecting and testing , packing for export supply CFR Aqaba, Supervising of erection and Commissioning Activities at sites, setting to work and guarantee for a period of 24 months after receipt of last consignment at site of the following substations :
A- 132/33 kV Universal Substation :
1.Eight Double Bus Bars Bays 132 kV indoor GIS type substation,
Comprising three 80 MVA Transformers Circuit bays , Four 132 kV Cables feeders bays, One Bus Coupler circuit bay .
2.Eighteen single Bus Bar 33 kV indoor metalclad switchgear for
Transformers , Capacitor Banks feeders, bus section circuits and Cabled feeders.
3.33 kV 4X10 MVRC Capacitor Banks and associated equipment .
4.The relevant Control & Protection Panels for all a.m. circuits .
5.Ancillary Equipments .
B- 132/33 kV ATPS Substation ( Aqaba Thermal Power station )
1.Thirteen single Bus Bar 33 kV indoor metalclad switchgear for
Transformers Bus Section Circuits and cabled feeders .
2.Ancillary equipments .
The 80 MVA 132/33 transformers to be provided under a separate contract .
C-Aqaba A2 132/33Kv S/S :
1.Tow outdoor bays for 132/33 kV, 63 MVA Transformers .
The 63 MVA 132/33 Kv transformers to be provided under a separate contract .
2.Sixteen 33 kV indoor Metalclad switchgears for transformers,
Bus section, capacitor banks and cabled feeders .
3.33 kV 6X10MVAR Capacitor Banks and associated equipments
4. Ancillary equipments .
The civil works are included under a separate contract .
The equipments above is to be complete with control, relay panels and accessories .
Delivery time CFR Aqaba for all items is (40) weeks
