Korea Offshore Wind Power is the main development body of 2.5GW Offshore Wind Power Project in southwestern coast, which is a national project for enhancing competitiveness of Korea's Offshore Wind Power Industry in the world as a part of the Korean Government's 2020 plan to become world's top 3 offshore wind power nation and supply and expand of Renewable Energy. In addition, it is a special purpose company that is jointly invested by Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and 6 power producers (Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, Korea South East Power, Korea Midland Power, Korea Western Power, Korea Southern Power and Korea East-West Power). |
